Presentation of the Book “Security Problems & Modern Challenges of the Georgian National Currency”
The Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) will host a presentation of the book “Security Problems & Modern Challenges of the Georgian National Currency” at
12 noon on June 29.
The book is written by the founders of the Center for Analysis and Forecast at TSU, Otar Anguridze, Irakli Dogonadze and Vakhtang Charaia. Rector of TSU, Academician Vladimer Papava is the editor of the publication and the author of its preamble.
The book is dedicated to the issues of security of the Georgian national currency; it discusses internal (actions by the Georgian government, national and commercial banks) and external (remittances, Russian-Ukrainian crisis, oil prices, role of international organizations, etc.) factors affecting the Georgian currency exchange rate. The publication also provides short-term and long-term solutions for the National Bank of Georgia and government agencies.
The book is issued in Georgian and English languages.
