3rd Caucasian Occupational Therapy Conference
At 10:30am on December 8, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) and Georgian Occupational Therapists Association will host the 3rd Caucasian Occupational Therapy Conference. The conference aims at assessing the ten-year experience of teaching occupational therapy along with analyzing the experiences of various countries; initiating international projects and raising awareness about occupational therapy in the region. Professor at University of Vic, Salvador Simo Algado is a keynote speaker of the conference. The topic of his report: “Professional identity of occupational therapists: integrating education, research and intervention.” Occupational therapists working in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as invited guests from Spain and Holland will participate in the conference. Representatives of local and international governmental and non-governmental organizations will attend the conference.
The conference is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of introducing occupational therapy courses in Georgia. It will end on December 9.
