Training on “Strengthening Freedom of Religion, Tolerance, Equality and Religious Neutrality in Georgia”
On October 17, at 2pm, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) will host a training on “Strengthening Freedom of Religion, Tolerance, Equality and Religious Neutrality in Georgia.” The training will be held in frames of the government’s Human Rights Action Plan (2018-2020).
The training topics are: the government’s religion policy; concordat; State Agency for Religious Issues, its functions and activities (Valierian Liluashvili); freedom of religion according to national and international legislation (Davit Davitashvili); Zaza Vashakmadze, chairman of the State Agency for Religious issues, will make a welcome speech.
