Presentation of Applied Research “Black Sea Functional Region, its Centers of Gravity and Particular Advantages”
On October 30, at 6pm, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) will host a presentation “Black Sea Functional Region, its Centers of Gravity and Particular Advantages.”
The applied research was conducted by the TSU Department of Human Geography and CRRC Georgia, within the framework of the EU-funded project Advancing Regions for Sustainable Development (ARSD). The project aims at promoting government capacity building in strategic planning and implementing the country’s regional development. The project is co-financed by City Institute Georgia.
The first part of the event will be dedicated to presentation of the research report. Along with the results, the authors will present recommendations for the authorities. Discussion will be held in the second part. Officials from various ministries, as well as representatives of civil society organizations, various foundations operating in Georgia and universities will attend the event.
