On Tuesday, May 22, at 15:00, at the Portuguese Language Center at TSU (Building II, room 203), Prof. Gueorgui Nenov Hristovsky presented the conference: “Portuguese Phonology: Central Issues at the Segmental Level”.
Prof. GUEORGUI HENOV HRISTOVSKY was born in Bulgaria in 1960. He graduated in Modern Languages and Literature, Faculty of Letters at Lisbon University, and completed his Master Degree in Linguistics in 1990. He obtained his PhD from the University of Lisbon in 2001 and since then has taught at the same university.
Currently Prof. Hristovsky is an Assistant Professor at the Department of General and Romance Linguistics and the Director of the Center for Slavic Languages and Cultures, University of Lisbon. He is author and editor of several monographs on the topics related to Slavic and Romance Linguistic and the author of numerous articles.
