Tbilisi State University (TSU) and contribution to its
internationalization, the Academic Council of Ivane Javakhishvili
Tbilisi State University made a decision to confer the Honorary
Doctorate Degree to the Rector of the University of A Coruña, Professor
Julio E. Abalde Alonso. (

Cooperation between Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and
University of A Coruña started in 2013 when the universities signed a
Memorandum of Understanding. Currently, the universities cooperate in
the framework of the EU-funded Erasmus+ mobility exchange program.
