The TSU Publishing House held a presentation of Very Short Introductions, a book series published by the Oxford University Press (OUP) publishing house. Six books in the series were presented on the sideline of the 17th International Book Festival: Theory of Literature; Particle Physics; History; Mathematics; Consciousness; Philosophy of Law.
Interested readers will be offered short introductions to particular subjects in Georgian language. TSU students and editor-in-chief of the book series, Ketevan Kurdovanidze participated in the presentation.
The book series published by the Oxford University – Very Short Introductions – covers a lot of interesting scientific or cultural aspects, from ancient Egypt and Indian philosophy to conceptual art and cosmology.
The book series Very Short Introductions contains 12 volumes. The following volumes are planned to be issued in the near future: Psychology; Archeology; Social and Cultural Anthropology; Cosmology; Linguistics; History of time.
