The Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) has won the nomination “Best Exhibition Stand Design” at the International Education Exhibition for the fifth consecutive year.
Similar to last year, in 2015 TSU was again awarded a certificate for the best exhibition stand design.
The 5th International Education Exhibition was held at Expo Georgia on February 27-28. TSU presented an original stand at the exhibition. The guests of the exhibition got information about TSU faculties, educational programs (undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral programs), exchange programs, etc. A quiz was held in the course of the event. The winners were awarded the prizes.
The first-ever national university in the Caucasus was opened in 1918 laying the foundation for a European-type higher school in Georgia, based on Georgian educational traditions. Today the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University is the leader by its scales and quality of teaching. Over 20 000 students are undergoing studies at seven faculties of TSU (Exact and Natural Sciences; Humanities; Social and Political Sciences; Economics and Business; Psychology and Educational Sciences; Medicine; Law). TSU incorporates 16 scientific institutes; various research institutions and centers are functioning at the faculties. TSU has a library and a museum. Over 200 BA, MA, PhD degree programs, as well as vocational and Georgian language learning programs are being implemented at the Tbilisi State University.
