The 3rd International Scientific Conference – Georgian - Ossetian Relations - History and Modernity (dedicated to Academician Giorgi Akhvlediani and Academician Vasil Abaevi) will take place
on 13-15 October, 2017, in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Topics of the Papers:
Plenary Session: The contribution of Giorgi Akhvlediani and Vasil Abaevi to the Georgian-Ossetian Scholarly Relations
The conference will involve six sections and a roundtable for students and young scholars:
1. Literary Studies, Linguistics, Lexicology;
2. Folklore, Ethnology, History, Archeology;
3. Philosophy, Ethics, Religion;
4. Culture and Art;
5. Interdisciplinary Studies;
6. Media and Mass Communication.
The aim of the conference:
International Scientific Conference "Georgian-Ossetian Relations - History and Modernity" aims at facilitating the transition to a new stage of Georgian-Ossetian relations, modern interdisciplinary research.
The conference will be attended by scholars, young researchers, governmental and non-governmental organizations, representatives of international organizations, Conflict Studies researchers, experts, and scholars of humanitarian and social-political disciplines.
