Deputy Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU), Mikheil Chkhenkeli met President of the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), Professor David Gordon on April 6.
WFME Head of Office, Siobhan Fitzpatrick; Director of the National Center for Education Quality Enhancement, Tamar Sanikidze and other representatives of the Center; Dean of the TSU Faculty of Medicine, Professor Alexander Tsiskaridze; Head of Quality Assurance Service, Professor Nino Chikhladze, as well as TSU Professors Nino Okribelashvili, Tamar Kezeli and Paata Imnadze attended the meeting.
The programs offered by the TSU Faculty of Medicine, the perspectives of TSU internationalization and medical education development as well as new challenges were discussed at the meeting.
