On October 10, Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze viewed the stand of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia at Frankfurt Book Fair and, among other publications, familiarized himself with diverse scientific literature presented by Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Rector of TSU, George Sharvashidze presented to the guests the National Atlas of Georgia released in Germany in connection with the 100th anniversary of TSU, where Georgia is presented within its internationally recognized borders. The National Atlas of Georgia involves over 100 maps, graphics and photos and it represents the best research resource for scientists and students.
The guests viewed over 50 unique publications presented by the Tbilisi State University, including a trilingual translation of the book “Georgia: A Social-Democratic Peasant Republic” by Karl Kautsky; “Georgian Democracy” by V. Voitinsky; the album “Cultural Chronicles of the Democratic Republic of Georgia,” etc.
Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze was accompanied by his adviser on education, Mikheil Chkhenkeli; Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, Mikheil Batiashvili and other government officials.
