Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) will hold elections of the members of the Representative Council (Senate) on
November 25 to bring the representatives of independent scientific research units into it and to elect new members instead of those, whose mandates have been terminated early.
1)TSU independent scientific and research unit – High Energy Physics Institute – 1 member;
2)TSU independent scientific and research unit – Ilia Vekua Institute of Applied Mathematics – 1 member;
3)Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences: academic staff – 1 member;
4)Faculty of Medicine: student – 1 member.
To undergo registration, a candidate has to submit:
1.An application addressed to the election commission
2.A copy of a citizen’s identification card or a passport
3.Document certifying that a candidate holds an academic position (professor, associate professor, assistant professor) or is an employee of a scientific research institution
4.Curriculum Vitae (CV)
5.Certificate on student status (for students)
* Assistant runs in the elections as a student
Registration of candidates will take place at the TSU Chancellery at the following address: Tbilisi, I. Chavchavadze Ave., Building I, room No.114.
