For the first time in 2018, five excellent students from the Department of Journalism at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) were awarded scholarships of Mamuka Khazaradze, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TBC Bank on September 17. Upon his decision, scholarships will be awarded annually to the third-year excellent students from the Department of Journalism. This year, scholarships were awarded to Ekaterine Janiashvili, Ana Arevadze, Liana Markaryan, Anastasia Raiki and Mariam Talakhadze.
Mariam Talakhadze said that the TSU Faculty of Social and Political Sciences offers high quality education and student-centered teaching. “I have accumulated huge knowledge during these three years and strive to deepen my practical knowledge during the remaining period as it is very important and essential for journalists,” she noted.
