Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, George Sharvashidze and President of Caucasus University, Kakha Shengelia signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two universities on January 14.
Under the Memorandum, the parties commit themselves to promote sharing of experience and transfer of novelties in the spheres of business, tourism, economy, medicine and healthcare, jurisprudence, governance, humanities and social sciences, media and technology, as well as educational sphere.
Rector of TSU, George Sharvashidze said: “The Memorandum opens up broad opportunities for implementing joint events. Our cooperation will be diverse. We both have a very good potential in this respect. This cooperation will be interesting for both students and academics.”
“The Memorandum will enable us to use the strong sides of each other and further advance the Georgian education system in order to have higher quality education system in the country. It is a great honor for us,” President of Caucasus University, Kakha Shengelia said.
Under the Memorandum, the parties will cooperate in developing educational programs, basic and applied research studies, university traditions through innovative research and learning; also will exchange experience on key issues; hold joint scientific conferences, training and master classes.
