Academia Europaea reports on its decision to open its fifth regional academic hub at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. According to the official website, Academia Europaea’s Board of Trustees has unanimously supported the decision to open the regional hub in Tbilisi in April 2019.
Georgia will be the first non-EU member state, where Academia Europaea’s regional hub will be opened. The hub will promote the access of Georgian researchers and young scientists to international arena and ensure the development of science and research activities in the Caucasus region, Near East and Central Asia.
