Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) has unveiled the results of the first stage of the student project funding competition. The Student Project Funding Council discussed a total of 63 project proposals, among them 18 academic projects and 45 – educational/cultural/sports projects.
The Council made a decision to allocate funding to 15 academic projects and 34 educational/cultural/sports projects.
The authors of those projects, who failed to receive funding, were given recommendations and possibilities to submit projects next time.
Academic projects will be received throughout 2017; the second stage of receiving educational/cultural/sport projects has already been launched and it will last till April 30.
