KTH Royal Institute of Technology is a major provider of technology related higher education in Sweden providing one third of the national output in technology related subjects. During 2008 KTH had 12,230 full time students and more than 1500 doctoral students.

The profile of School of Technology and Health activities deal with development across the borders of technology and medicine in their widest sense including technical research of importance to health and medical care.

The programs at STH cover different subjects, like Construction and Design, Electronics and Robotics, Innovation and Design, Medical Engineering and Computer Networks. Research emphasis is placed on medical technology, logistics, design and ergonomics that limit and prevent injury and promote health. The school is also one of the major KTH centers for Bachelor of Engineering courses. The team from KTH is expertise in fields of in formation management, injury prevention, environmental influences on health and well being, provide qualified experts input in all programs and projects, related to IT and health knowledge, the field of public health and social services.
