Attention! Competition for the post-doctoral program

L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University announces a competition for the post-doctoral program in the following areas:

1. Materials Science (Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials) - 1st place.

Requirements for applicants by the head (specialty, competencies, work experience, scientometric indicators, others):

basic Education “Chemistry”, “Chemical Technology of Organic Substances”, “Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances”, “Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies”, “Material Science”;

hirsch index over the past 5 years - at least 3;

at least 5 articles with a non-zero impact factor included in the Scopus or Web of Science databases over the past 5 years ;

at least 1 articles with non-zero IF, applicant is the corresponding author;

practical experience in a research laboratory for at least 3 years;

knowledge of the basics of decoding and processing data of X-ray diffractometry, IR and UV spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy;

ability to work with data processing programs (Origin, ChemOffice, etc.);

ability and desire to work in a team; desire for self-development, learning and self-criticism; active and positive attitude.

2. Construction (Geotechnics) – 1 st place.

Requirements for applicants by the head (specialty, competencies, work experience, scientometric indicators, others):

The field of research of the candidate in the field of civil and industrial construction, namely in the field of frost penetration;

possession of the necessary knowledge and skills to perform geotechnical laboratory tests of soils, be familiar with the requirements and methods of SNiP, SN RK, EuroCode, ASTM and BS;

Knowledge of the fundamentals of the geotechnics of frost penetration, namely the basic laws and parameters of calculating moisture and mass transfer in soils;

fluency in English (IELTS certificate or diploma of graduation from a foreign university), Kazakh (Russian) languages;

Availability of articles in international peer-reviewed journals and experience in participating in international projects;

he ability to independently solve engineering problems in the implementation of the set of fulfilling scientific goals.

The scholarship is awarded in the amount of 500,000 tenge.

Applicants must submit the following documents:

- an application in the prescribed form (Appendix 2 of the "Regulation");

- an application signed by the applicant requesting admission to the post-doctoral program with an indication of a specific direction;

- An extended professional resume - scientific passport (Appendix 3 of the “Regulation”);

- a motivation letter (no more than 1000 characters), revealing the specific skills required to participate in the project, work experience;

- a time schedule of research activities and articles for the next three years (Appendix 4 of the Regulation);

- reprints of the most significant and main articles in journals indexed by Web of Science, Scopus;

- A copy of the diploma of the degree of Candidate of Sciences, Doctor of Sciences or PhD, Doctor in profile. Documents in English must be with a certified translation in the state or Russian language;

- IELTS certificate;

- two recommendations from research scientists in their field, certified by the signatures and seal of the employing organization (if possible).

Евразийский национальный университет имени Л.Н.Гумилева объявляет конкурс на программу постдокторантуры по следующим направлениям:

1. Материаловедение (нанотехнологии и наноматериалы) – 1 место.

Требования к соискателям со стороны руководителя (специальность, компетенции, опыт работы, наукометрические показатели, другие):

базовое образование «Химия», «Химическая технология органических веществ», «Химическая технология неорганических веществ», «Наноматериалы и нанотехнологии», «Материаловедение»;

индекс Хирша за последние 5 лет – не менее 3;

количество публикаций с ненулевым импакт-фактором, входящих в базу Scopus или Web of Science – не менее 5 за последние 5 лет;

количество статей с ненулевым ИФ, где соискатель является corresponding author – не менее 1;

практический опыт работы в научно-исследовательской лаборатории не менее 3 лет;

знание основ расшифровки и обработки данных рентгеновской дифрактометрии, ИК- и УФ-спектроскопии, рентгеновской фотоэлектронной спектроскопии;

умение работать с программами обработки данных (Origin, ChemOffice и т.д.);

умение и желание работать в коллективе; стремление к саморазвитию, обучаемость и самокритичность; активная и позитивная жизненная позиция.

2. Строительство (геотехника) – 1 место.

область исследования кандидата в области гражданского и промышленного строительства, а именно в области промерзания грунтов;

владение необходимыми знаниями и навыками выполнения геотехнических лабораторных испытаний грунтов, быть знакомым с требованиями и методами СНиП, СН РК, ЕuroСode, ASTM и BS;

знание основ геотехники промерзающих грунтов, а именно основных законов и параметров расчета влаго- и массопереноса в грунтах;

свободное владение английским (наличие сертификата IELTS или диплом об окончании зарубежного вуза), казахским (русским) языками;

наличие публикаций в международных рецензируемых журналах и опыт участия в международных проектах;

способность самостоятельно решать инженерные задачи в ходе выполнения поставленной научной цели.

Стипендия назначается в размере 500 000 тенге.

Кандидаты должны представить следующие документы:

- заявку по установленной форме (Приложение 2 «Положения»);

- подписанное соискателем заявление с просьбой о приеме на программу постдокторантуры с указанием конкретного направления;

- расширенное профессиональное резюме – научный паспорт (Приложение 3 «Положения»);

- мотивационное письмо (не более 1000 знаков), раскрывающее конкретные навыки, необходимые для участия в проекте, опыт работы;

- календарный план исследовательской деятельности и публикаций на ближайшие три года (Приложение 4 «Положения»);

- оттиски наиболее значимых и основных публикаций в журналах, индексируемых Web of Science, Scopus;

- копию диплома об ученой степени кандидата наук, доктора наук или доктора PhD, доктора по профилю. Документы на английском языке должны быть с заверенным переводом на государственном или русском языке;

- сертификат IELTS;

- две рекомендации от ученых-исследователей в своей области, заверенные подписями и печатью организации-работодателя (если такое возможно).
