Academic Conference “Source-Study and Historiography”

The Conference “Source-Study and Historiography” will be held on October 18,19,20, 2017 in Tbilisi.
The Organizers are: “The Commission for Georgian Historcal Sources” at the Georgian National Academy of Sciences and “Department of Medieval History of Georgia and Source-Study” of the Institute of History and Ethnology at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.   
Your participation is highly appreciated.
The papers might be devoted to critical analysis of sources, history of historical thoughts. There is no restriction regarding chronology or region. 
The applicants are required to send one-page abstract with short CV and contact details until May 15, 2017 to Professor Mariam Chkhartishvili (mariam.chkhartishvili@tsu.ge). By the second half of June they will be informed about the conference program. 
The working language of the conference is Georgian; however it would be possible to make presentations in English or in Russian as well.  The interpreter will help with translation. The time-limit is 15 min. Presented papers will be published in the journal “Georgian Source-Study.” 
There is no conference fee. The cultural and social programs will be free of charge.  
Participants are responsible to cover the accommodation and travel expenses.
