Public Discussion on Autism Issues

At 6pm on April 3, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University will hold a public discussion on autism issues in connection with the World Autism Awareness Day.

Neuropsychologists Tamar Gagoshidze, Mariam Khvadagiani, Shorena Mamukadze, Ana Karaulashvili and occupational therapist Lusi Jalagonia will discuss a wide range of issues, among them computers and effects of foreign language cartoons on the development of communication; causes of the increase of autism spectrum disorder; difficulties with diagnostic evaluation of autism spectrum disorder; problems faced by teenagers and adults with autism spectrum disorder.
