Public Lecture on a Topic “Foreign Policy of the Republic of Poland in the Context of New Global Policy of the United States”

At 6pm on April 27, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University will host a public lecture on a topic “Foreign Policy of the Republic of Poland in the Context of New Global Policy of the United States.” The lecture will be delivered by Zbigniew Lewicki, professor of political science at Cardinal Wyszyński University in Warsaw.

Graduates of the Polish university and Polish scholarship laureates are invited to attend the lecture.

Professor Zbigniew Lewicki is the Head of Department of American Studies at Cardinal Wyszyński University in Warsaw. He is former Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Polish Foreign Ministry (North and South America direction); Director for International Security at East-West Research Institute; Director of the Center for American Studies at Warsaw University and Head of the Warsaw Mayor’s Administration.

He has published extensively, including a multi-volume History of American Civilization, and a 2016 book on the American election system.

He is also a frequent media commentator on American politics and US-Poland relations.
