Open Day for Admission to Interdisciplinary Master’s Program in Gender Studies
On June 7, at 5 pm, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences and the Institute for Gender Studies at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) will organize an open day for admission to the interdisciplinary Master’s program in Gender Studies for Academic Year 2018-2019.
The interdisciplinary Master’s Program in Gender Studies is the first and the only graduate level program in Gender Studies throughout the Caucasus region. The Program has been developed in close cooperation with the Center for Social Sciences (Tbilisi), Rutgers University (New Jersey, USA) and the Department of Gender Studies at Central European University (Budapest, Hungary). Students of the Master’s Program in Gender Studies have a unique opportunity to receive a graduate level training in Social Sciences meeting international standards, to excel in Gender Studies education, to gain practical work experience through the internship. The length of study is two academic years. Language of instruction – Georgian.
