Presentation of Academic Writing Project
On June 23, at 12 noon, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) will host a presentation of Academic Writing Development Project. Rector of TSU, Giorgi Sharvashidze; Deputy Rector Mikheil Chkhenkeli; EWMI/PROLoG Chief of Party Giorgi Chkheidze; President’s Parliamentary Secretary Anna Dolidze and representatives of academic community will attend the event.
The Academic Writing Development Project is a new priority direction of the Tbilisi State University and it aims at increasing academic writing standards among students. The first project of the direction – a textbook “Academic Writing in Law” by Anna Dolidze - will be unveiled during the presentation. The textbook has been prepared with the support of EWMI/PROLoG and it aims at presenting the key principles of academic writing in law to law students and lecturers. These principles are universal and they will promote the harmonization of Georgian students’ academic works with western university standards.
