Honorary Doctorates Award Ceremony at TSU

At 11am on January 17, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) will host a ceremony of awarding honorary doctorates to Dr. Amalia Moser, professor of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens; Juergen Boss, director of the Frankfurt Book Fair; Dr. Peter Lydyard, emeritus professor of University College London, and Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Weng of Technical University of Berlin. 

TSU Rector Giorgi Sharvashidze, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Aleksandre Jejelava, Minister of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia, Mikheil Giorgadze, professors and students will attend the event.

By the end of the event, the professors will deliver public lectures:

Lecture topic: “Time in Language”
Public Lecture of Prof. Peter Lydyard
Lecture topic: “A, B in my bonnet about this never ending story”
Public Lecture of Prof. Wolfgang Weng
Lecture topic: "Future-oriented aspects of economic education."
