President of Georgia Establishes Scholarship for TSU Students
Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili has established a scholarship for the students of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU).
President Margvelashvili announced about his decision at a meeting dedicated to the Day of Georgian Diplomacy on November 4. Rector of TSU, Giorgi Sharvashidze, students from TSU’s international relations direction, professors and members of Georgian diplomats’ families attended the event.
By decision of President Margvelashvili, the Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani Scholarship will be granted to one successful student studying international relations at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of TSU.
During the meeting Margvelashvili awarded the Presidential Order of Excellence to Georgian ambassadors Revaz Adamia, Giorgi Burduli and Levan Mikeladze post mortem. He handed over the awards to the families of Georgian diplomats.
