Small Claims Mediation Program for Tbilisi City Court
On September 29, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) hosted an event “Small Claims Mediation Program for Tbilisi City Court” organized by TSU National Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Rector of TSU, Giorgi Sharvashidze made a welcome speech.
Giorgi Tsertsvadze, academic director of the National Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution, spoke about small claims concept and further steps of development.
The event was attended by representatives of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Promoting Rule of Law in Georgia (PROLoG) program, U.S. Embassy to Georgia, German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), High Council of Justice, Supreme Court of Georgia, Tbilisi City Court, Bar Association, Georgian Court Mediators Association, Association of Law Firms of Georgia, Georgia Mediators Association, Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs, TSU National Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution, Tbilisi Open University and East European University.
