Public Lecture “EUMM in Georgia”
The Institute for European Studies of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in cooperation with the European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia (EUMM) organized a public lecture by Deputy Head of Mission, Kate Fearon.
The event was opened by Nino Lapiashvili, director of the Institute for European Studies, and continued by a public lecture “EUMM in Georgia” delivered by Kate Fearon.
The event was wrapped up by the IES-TSU administration with the short presentation of new publications within the framework of EU TEMPUS project “Innovating Teaching and Learning of European Studies” (INOTLES) as well as the new edition ENPI established bilingual Georgian Journal for European Studies. In the final part Kate Fearon awarded the European Studies Master’s Programme IX intake graduates with graduation certificates.
The event was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Tbilisi State University and the Europe Day celebrations.
