TSU, Partnership Fund Sign Memorandum of Cooperation

Students of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) will undergo internships envisaged by educational program at the subsidiaries of the Partnership Fund. The relevant Memorandum was signed by Rector of TSU, Giorgi Sharvashidze and CEO of Partnership Fund, Davit Saganelidze on July 5.  

Rector of TSU, Giorgi Sharvashidze said that besides student internships, Tbilisi State University and Partnership Fund are also discussing other issues of cooperation. “We have not only this issue as a cornerstone of our cooperation. Knowledge transfer, innovative directions are those issues, which are discussed with the Partnership Fund and I hope that the University and the Fund will find many more mutually beneficial spheres,” Rector Sharvashidze said.

CEO of Partnership Fund, Davit Saganelidze said that Tbilisi State University offers its students high level theoretical education, while the Partnership Fund will help them deepen their practical knowledge. “A group of interns from TSU will undergo internships at those enterprises, where we have invested capital, as well as at our head office or subsidiaries. I hope that the majority of them will find jobs in the future. It is very important for students, as well as for those enterprises and businesses, who are looking for the staff with high level theoretical or practical knowledge,” Saganelidze said.

The purpose of the Memorandum is to develop professional skills of students from the TSU Faculty of Economics and Business. At the initial stage, 35 vacancies will be allocated for TSU students by Partnership Fund’s subsidiaries.
