Conference ‘Modern Business: Novelties, Problems’

An international scientific-practical conference Modern Business: Novelties, Problems was opened at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) on October 3. TSU Rector, Academician Vladimer Papava; Tbilisi Mayor, TSU Professor Davit Narmania; Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, Professor Elene Kharabadze; Dean of the TSU Faculty of Economics and Business, Professor Teimuraz Beridze; TSU students, professors and invited guests attended the event.

TSU Rector Vladimer Papava said while addressing the audience: “The TSU Department of Accounting and Audit has turned 80. This is an important date. This is a certain stage in the life of the Faculty of Economics and naturally, this important date should have been marked with a conference. So, the international conference is being held today; a lot of guests have arrived from various European counties and I think that this conference will be interesting and successful, especially for the students, because they will be able to familiarize themselves with modern scientific achievements.”   

“It is an important conference and it is essential for scientific circles, students and PhD students to participate in the discussions planned at this conference. The Tbilisi Municipality is actively cooperating with TSU and besides it, we are planning interesting events to promote small and medium businesses,” Tbilisi Mayor, TSU Professor Davit Narmania said.

The conference is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Department of Accounting and Audit of the Faculty of Economics and Business at TSU and many foreign and local scientists, as well as guests invited from various foreign universities are participating in it. The conference will last for three days.
