Dean of TSU Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences Elected

Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University held elections of the Dean of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences. Three candidates ran for the elections, among them Associate Professor Mikheil Amaglobeli; Professor Manana Khachidze and Associate Professor Ramaz Khomeriki. One candidate – Davit Kereselidze withdrew from the race. Professor Ramaz Khomeriki was elected new Dean of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences.

34 members of the Faculty Council cast their ballots in the elections with 25 members voting in favor of Ramaz Khomeriki. The remaining votes were distributed as follows: Manana Khachidze – 6 votes; Mikheil Amaglobeli – 1 vote.
