TSU, University of Seville Sign Memorandum of Cooperation

TSU Rector, Academician Vladimer Papava and Rector of the University of Seville Antonio Ramirez De Arellano Lopez signed a consortium agreement in Seville, Spain, on December 12 within the framework of the Erasmus Mundus Program.
Under the agreement, the two universities will launch exchange programs for their students, professors and administration staff.
During the visit, the TSU delegation met with the Dean of the Faculty of Finances and Tourism of the University of Seville; moreover, Dean of the TSU Faculty of Medicine Aleksandre Tsiskaridze discussed the issue of development and implementation of MA programs at the meeting with the director of the Clinic at the University of Seville.
In frames of the visit to Seville, memorandums of cooperation were signed between several universities on December 13 (TSU, University of Seville, Charlemagne High School in Belgium, Gori University, University of Trade and Economic Relations of Belarus, Technical University of Tajikistan). The memorandums were signed within the framework of the Tempus project ‘Internationalization in Central Asia and Eastern Neighboring Area.’
The University of Seville is one of the oldest universities in the world. It was founded in 1505 and today it has around 80 000 students. TSU launched active cooperation with the University of Seville two years ago.
