Training course for TSU students

Training for TSU undergraduate and graduate students is conducted within the framework of INTEGRITY project, organized by Quality Assurance officeof IvaneJavakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
The training topics are:
The structure and characteristics of the scientific paper;
Scientific electronic databases, finding and verifying literature;
How to write a bachelors thesis?
How to write a masters thesis?
How to avoid plagiarism?
Students will be introduced to strategies for creating a scientific paper, prevention of plagiarism, and will perform practical assignments. Students will be provided with the materials used in the training.
Trainers: The training course will be led by GiuliShabashvili, Associate Professor of TSU Faculty of Humanities and Katie Tsomaia, Invited Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine.
Date: The training course for undergraduate students will take place on February 2 and 9, 2019, and for undergraduates on February 16 and 23, 2019.
Time: Training courses start at 12:00 a.m. To register, please come at 11:30 a.m.
Duration: The training course lasts 4 hours.

The trainings are carried out within the framework of the Erasmus Institutional Development Project "Academic Integrity for Quality Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Institutions in Georgia (INTEGRITY)”. The partners of the project, along with four European universities - Roehampton (University of Roehampton, England), Uppsala (University of Uppsala, Sweden), Vienna (University of Vienna, Austria) and Dublin (Dublin City University, Ireland)- are twelve Georgian universities, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia and the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement. The project aims to develop appropriatepolicies and mechanisms for the protection of academic integrity that will help detect, prevent, and eliminate cases of plagiarism in higher education institutions in Georgia.
