The Institute for Georgia’s Neighbourhood Studies at TSU organizes an international conference Politics around the Caucasus on November 13-14, 2015.
The purpose of the conference is to study the most pressing issues of domestic and foreign policy, history, economics, religion, culture and art, language and literature of the South Caucasus countries and neighboring political actors. Conference papers should contain a novelty.
Participation in the conference is possible for all those interested in the countries of the South Caucasus (Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia), Russia, Iran and Turkey. The organizers will compensate transportation and hotel fees for only two representatives from each following country: Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkey. Other participants will have to cover all the expenses themselves.
Important dates:
• Paper submission deadline: 24 July 2015;
• Specification of the list of speakers: 14 August 2015
• Report submission deadline: October 14, 2015;
• Conference Day: November 13, 2015;
• City Tour: November 14, 2015
Papers should be submitted in Georgian or English and they should not exceed 500 words.
Reports should also be submitted in Georgian or English and they should not exceed 6000 words.
If you need additional technical equipment, i.e. projector, etc. please let us know.
Working languages: Georgian and English
The conference program and reports will be published in a collected volume and handed over to the participants before opening the conference. For more information, please write to us: igns@tsu.ge
