Symposium “The Caucasus in the System of Eurasian Palaeometal Cultures”

The Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University is organizing an international symposium “The Caucasus in the System of Eurasian Palaeometal Cultures” to be held in October 2015. The period covered by the symposium will be from the 5th to the end of the 2th  millennium BC.

Specific topics include:

• Early Metal Age cultures in the Caucasus and adjacent regions
• Localization of industrial centres and their relationships
• Technological issues
• Interdisciplinary research methods as applied to metal
