Photo Contest “Seeing Georgian Nature through Your Own Eyes”

The School of Young Geographers at TSU Children’s University is pleased to announce a photo contest for the school pupils titled “Seeing Georgian Nature through Your Own Eyes”. Take a photo depicting the nature of our country, take part in the contest and become a winner.

Winners will be revealed in the following nominations:

  1. A photo depicting natural environment;
  2. A photo depicting a protected area;
  3. A photo depicting a natural monument.
Assessment criteria:
  • Individuality  
  • Composition
  • Portrayal of ecological problems

    Interested persons have to send photos till 8 pm on December 20 at the following address: junior@tsu.ge

    Necessary requirements :
  • Pupils from public as well as private schools are eligible to participate in the contest
  • (No class restrictions)
  • Keep within topic
  • Photos can be taken by any available technical means: digital camera, mobile telephone (a photo with any inscriptions or program signs will not be received)
  • Do not attach you name and surname, school, class to photo (photos) sent via e-mail; you can only indicate your pen name; so, the author will remain anonymous.  

30 best photos will be selected and exhibited. Contestants will receive information about advancement to the next stage via e-mail. The list will be posted on the Facebook page of TSU Children’s University. The competent jury will reveal one winner in each of the three nominations. One more winner will be revealed according to the number of Facebook likes.
