Scientific-Research Centre for Georgian-Ossetian Relations at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University is organizing an international scientific conference on October 13-15, 2015:
“The development of Georgian-Ossetian Relations in modern prism”

There will be four sections and a round table for students and young scholars:
1. History of Georgian-Ossetian Relations
2. Georgian-Ossetian Folk and Literary Relations
3. Georgian-Ossetian Linguistic Relations
4. Georgian-Ossetian Cultural Relations

The aims of the Conference:
The conflicts that arose in the post-Soviet period had a large impact on Georgian-Ossetian Relations. The August War of 2008 separated these two nations even more. For the building of Trust after the conflict scientific dialogue, interdisciplinary forum is absolutely vital. The International, Scientific Conference “The development of Georgian-Ossetian Relations in modern prism” will aid in the development of a new stage in Georgian-Ossetian Relations, modern interdisciplinary research.
The conference will be attended by many scholars, young researchers, representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations, representatives of international organizations, people interested in conflict studies, experts, researchers in humanitarian, social and political field.

Literature; Linguistics; History; Religion; Archaeology; Ethnology; Cultural Research; Folklore; Art Studies; Economics; Conflicts; Gender Research; Human Rights; Migration.

The abstracts will be given to the Conference Organizing Committee for Evaluation and the chosen participants will be notified by 20 September 2015.
After the completion of the conference participants will be given Certificates of Participation.
There is NO REGISTRATION FEE for the participants of the Conference.
The articles will be published.
