Symposium “The Caucasus in the System of Eurasian Palaeometal Cultures”

Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University’s Institute of Archaeology organizes an international symposium “The Caucasus in the System of Eurasian Palaeometal Cultures” to be held during October 1-5, 2015. The period covered by the symposium will be from the 5th to the end of the 2th millennium BC.
Specific topics include:

• Early Metal cultures in the Caucasus and surrounding regions
• Localization of industrial centers and their relationships
• Technological issues
• Interdisciplinary research methods as applied to metal

Who should attend?
International Symposium provides an opportunity for academics, scholars and researchers with different backgrounds and experience to present their papers and exchange and share their research results, new ideas.
Symposium committee highly encourages postgraduate and PhD students to present their research proposal, findings or issues.
