Portuguese Language Course at TSU

TSU Camões Portuguese Language Center opens Portuguese language course level 1 for TSU students, academic and administrative staff. One semester of the course (from September 24 to January 9) envisages 24 lessons and examinations. The lessons will be held at TSU building II, room 203 (TSU Camões – Portuguese Language Center). 
Any person interested in learning the Portuguese language has to send an application to the following e-mail address: vera.peixoto@tsu.ge, in which you need to express your interest in attending the course (please, bring your student card with you during the first lesson). 

Additional information: 
  • The course is free of charge;
  • A2 certificate will be issued after completion of the course;
  • Only TSU students, academic and administrative staff are eligible to take the course; 
  • Each class will contain up to 15 students (if the number of students requires it, another class will be opened on Wednesdays and Fridays);
  • No need to purchase the books; 
  • Both European and Brazilian Portuguese will be taught; 
  • Working language will be English;

The course will be led by Portuguese Professor Vera Peixoto (MA at the University of Porto; Portuguese language and literature teacher at Utrecht University in 2008-2013; director of Camões Center at TSU since 2013).
