Student Competition ‘TSU Innovation’ Launched

Take part in student competition “TSU Innovation”, present innovative works, win a cash prize and turn your ideas into reality.

Contestants will have a chance to win a total of GEL 5000 in cash prizes.

The project aims at discovering students interested in modern technologies and implementing their unique ideas. An exhibition-competition of students’ innovative works will be organized as part of the project.

Students from all seven faculties of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University are eligible to participate in the competition. Interested persons need to undergo registration through August 25 at the following link.

Innovative and technological works, both software and hardware projects, will be accepted. Contestants are eligible to participate in teams or individually. Number of team members should not exceed four persons.

The jury will reveal finalist teams, who will have to create prototypes of their projects during a month and submit them to the jury. Three winning teams will receive a total of GEL 5000.
1st place – GEL 2500
2nd place – GEL 1500
3rd place – GEL 1000

The partner company will enable all finalists to use the Microsoft Cloud Services, while the winner will be awarded a special prize – Microsoft Lumia mobile phone.

Moreover, students will submit the winning projects to science exhibitions and student events, on behalf of the Tbilisi State University.
