International Parliamentary Scholarship

The German Bundestag together with three of Berlin’s higher education institutions gives young graduates from 41 countries with a strong interest in politics the unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the decision making processes. Scholarships for young graduates have already been granted to 2200 persons with 63 from Georgia.

The program will start on March 1 and last through July 31. It involves the 15-week work placement with a Member of the Bundestag. 

The deadline for submitting applications expires on June 30, 2017.

Within the framework of the program, the German Bundestag will cover travel, accommodation, insurance expenses and pay a monthly scholarship.

Requirements:
•    Citizenship of Georgia
•    University degree
•    Very good knowledge of German
•    Strong interest in political and public relations as well as German history
•    Involvement in public and political activities
•    Under the age of 30 at the start of the scholarship
