Doctoral Degree Programs
Doctoral degree program grants academic doctoral degree according to fields and subfields/specializations. The doctoral degree program consists of 180 ECTS credits which are distributed as follows: 60 ECTS credits are allocated to a learning component, and 120 ECTS – to a research component. A doctoral candidate must have:
Master’s or equivalent academic degree in the field/subfield under the program requirements;
At least level B2 knowledge of one of the European scientific languages (English, German, French), (passing a relevant examination or submitting an internationally recognized certificate is required); if a doctoral candidate chooses English, German or French as an empirical basis of scientific research, level C1 certification for this language shall be required;
Consent of an apparent manager (manager of a relevant subfield);
Recommendation granted by the commission on graduate studies according to the results of the interview
