Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law of TSU; graduated in legal studies from Tbilisi State University; in 2003 she became a candidate of legal sciences (equivalent to a PhD degree); in 2004-2009 served as a researcher at Tinatin Tsereteli Law Institute; in 2009-11 was a post-doctoral Fellow within the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs scholarship program, was Visiting professor at the Department of Public Law and Historical-Legal Sciences and School of Security and Prevention at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Since 2010 she has been a member of the research centre, “Freedom, security and transformation” at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
