Associate Professor at the Department of Journalism and Mass Communications at TSU; Georgian Federation of Journalists Prize winner 1990; participant at international conferences and published about 35 scholarly works, including those in collections issued by Cambridge Scholars Publishing. She is currently working on two grant projects as a scholar. Research interests: history of Georgian journalism and public opinion; functional typology and interpretation of media texts; comparative analysis of journalism; Europeanism and Georgian journalism. She has lectured at TSU since 1992 and currently supervises the academic courses ‘’Introduction to mass communication and journalism’’, ‘’Analysis and opinion writing’’, and ‘’Critical analysis of modern Georgian media’’.
