Rector of University of A Coruña Awarded Honorary Doctorate of TSU

For his active cooperation with Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) and contribution to its internationalization, the Academic Council of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University made a decision to confer the Honorary Doctorate Degree to the Rector of the University of A Coruña, Professor Julio E. Abalde Alonso. (Decree N 149/2017)

Cooperation between Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and University of A Coruña started in 2013 when the universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Currently, the universities cooperate in the framework of the EU-funded Erasmus+ mobility exchange program.
