The Academic Council is the supreme representative body of legal entity of public law – higher educational institution and its authorities are defined by the Law of Georgia on Higher Education and the Statute of Legal Entity of Public Law – Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University State University approved by Order No 135/n as of September 11, 2013 of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia.
