TSU Rector Elected Member of Academia Europaea
Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Giorgi Sharvashidze has been elected a member of the Academia Europaea.
Founded in 1988, the Academia Europaea is a European, non-governmental association acting as an Academy. Its members are scientists and scholars who collectively aim to promote learning, education and research.
Academician of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Tamaz Gamkrelidze; Director of the Georgian National Museum, Davit Lortkipanidze, and Professor Zaal Kokaia of Lund University who is a visiting lecturer at TSU also are the members of the Academia Europaea from Georgia.
