The Mariam Lortkipanidze Readings
On September 28, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) hosted the Academician Mariam Lortkipanidze Kartvelological Scientific Readings. TSU Professors, MA and PhD students, researchers and employees of research institutions read out their papers in Kartvelian Studies.
The readings dedicated to Mariam Lortkipanidze’s memory were held for the first time and will traditionally continue annually. The purpose of the readings is to promote the development of Kartvelological research and popularize scientific news obtained through research.

The event was held at auditorium No. 321 located in the 1st Building of TSU, which upon the order of TSU Rector Giorgi Sharvashidze, was named after famous Georgian historian, Academician Mariam Lortkipanidze.
