Success of Scientists from TSU Faculty of Medicine and Institute of Morphology

A group of scientists from TSU Faculty of Medicine and Institute of Morphology (Professors – Nodar Khodeli, Zurab Chkhaidze, Dimitri Kordzaia, PhD students – Otar Pilishvili, Nino Inauri, Giorgi Sturua and research assistant Maia Mumladze) has won two grant competitions announced by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation for 2019. 
Basic Research State Grants – project “Experimental research of the methods of ‘ex vivo’ maintenance/reconditioning of organ transplants through new universal perfusion equipment” (№ FR-19-7543); project manager – Prof. Zurab Chkhaidze; project duration – three years; budget – GEL 269,861. 
Applied Research Grants Program – project “Development, attempt to introduce and transfer of innovative technology and equipment for management of blood flow of heart-lung-bypass machines using digitalization” (№CARYS-19-1227); project manager – Prof. Nodar Khodeli; project duration – one year; budget – GEL 249,524.
